The Tuggeranong Valley Band welcomes musicians of all ages
and skill levels. No audition is necessary.
We play fun, enjoyable music in a casual, friendly environment.
All you need is to be able to read music, have your own instrument
and love to play!
The Tuggeranong Valley Band is a friendly, inclusive community band open to anyone wanting to grow their musical skills, connect with others, and share the joy of making music together for fun and for the community.
We currently have two bands,
our beginner to intermediate Ensemble and our more advanced Concert Band.
We play at a variety of events throughout the ACT region
and have rehearsals on Thursday nights during the ACT school terms

Our beginner to intermediate band, playing pieces up to
around grade 2.5.
Pieces include well-known music such as
TV themes, marches and popular tunes.
Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 6:15pm to 7:20pm.
at the Farrer Primary School Hall.
Our advanced band which plays a variety of pieces
up to around Grade 4.
Pieces include a variety of styles such as classical, movie themes, pop and concert band music.
Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
at the Farrer Primary School Hall.
