TVB is excited to announce the formation of our new Big Band. 

Rehearsals have begun, but there's still time to join!

The Tuggeranong Valley Band has formed a new Big Band which will be led by Eric Smith. Eric has extensive experience in running a Big Band, successfully forming and growing the Tin Roof Big Band in Dubbo for 14 years.

Our new TVB Big Band format will consist of the following positions:

• Alto Sax 1 (Lead player, Eric Smith)

• Alto Sax 2

• Tenor Sax 1 (Lead player – solos)

• Tenor Sax 2

• Baritone Sax

• Trumpet 1 (Lead player – high notes!)

• Trumpet 2 (Lead player – solos)

• Trumpet 3

• Trumpet 4

• Trombone 1 (Lead player – solos)

• Trombone 2

• Trombone 3

• Trombone 4 (Bass trombone)

• Piano/Keyboard

• Guitar

• Bass (Bass guitar or double bass – or both)

• Drums

• Vocals
